I had to walk around house in shoes a couple days before my feet settled into position. Now they are great and are a great alternative to wearing tennis shoes all the time. They went great with all my knackis. Yes, I am one of those beige ladies. I have trouble keeping laces tied. Is there a secret to tying with leather shoelaces? They are fashionable though! Carol

I got an 8.5. These shoes are so cute and comfortable, but they feel annoyingly too big. I say "annoyingly" because an 8 would be too small. The shoes flip off my heels, so I guess I'll have to invest in those heel pad thingies. I've worn an 8.5 for 20 years, so I think I'm a pretty good judge of how an 8.5 is supposed to fit. My usual size is an 8 so that's what I originally ordered. When an 8 is too big for me a 7 1/2 tends to feel snug. In this shoe I still have room in the 7 1/2 almost to the point of considering a 7 because they always stretch. Sperrys are a VERY well made shoe and comfortable so if you order 1/2 size smaller than usual, you should be ecstatic with theses shoes! I am!

Gave me heel blisters and squished my toes, even in the wide width. My feet are wide, but I've always been fine with wide widths. Not these however. Sad! They are great otherwise. You just need the ideal foot to wear them.

These are an adorable seasonal adaptation of the traditional boat shoe. They are a little lighter in appearance which makes them more versatile. When it is wet, they can go where your sandals can't. They have the usual Sperry quality and comfort.

I had to buy a half size smaller for my foot not to slip out of the shoe. I love the style of the shoe but I have a blister on the back of my heal from the stiff leather on the heal.:( I hope I can wear a thin sock and help with the rubbing in my heal because I really like the shoe.
